Direct2

Invoices from actuals, FET itemized, synced to your books.

You're part-time, and the invoices are the job nobody else wants. Direct2 builds each invoice from what actually flew, itemizes federal excise tax the way an auditor reads it, and syncs it to your accounting system by aircraft.

  • FET 7.5% + segment fees
  • positioning in the base
  • 4261(e)(5)

Sound familiar?

Every invoice is typed twice, and the FET is a guess.

  1. Re-typing every invoice

The trip closes. You copy the hours, the fees and the services into your accounting system by hand, one line at a time.

  2. FET by spreadsheet

Is the positioning leg in the base? What about the owner's own leg? Every invoice is a judgment call that an audit could reverse.

  3. Deposits and crumpled receipts

A late cancellation, a partial refund and a pilot's hotel receipt in an envelope. Matching them up takes a morning.

What you get

Bill what flew, and let the books follow.

Scheduling

Sync to your books, with an error queue

Invoices, payments and approved expenses sync to your accounting system, each tail mapped to its own class. Anything that doesn't post lands in a queue with the reason, so you fix it once.

Nothing is silently dropped. Every record shows whether it synced, when, and what happened if it didn't.

Scheduling

Cancellations, deposits and refunds by the contract

A client cancels. The contract's fee applies by how late it is, FET is recalculated on the amount kept, and the rest of the deposit goes back to the client's card. Each step is on the record.

Payments online. Clients pay deposits and balances by card or ACH from the contract link.

A day with Direct2

Close-out to invoice.

One trip, Friday afternoon, from the office.

See billing in Scheduling & Dispatch
  1. 15:40

The PIC closes out the trip. The invoice drafts itself from actual times under the operator's bill-actual-within-10% policy.

  2. 15:41

De-icing from the FBO service line and a catering overage are added. FET is recalculated on the hours flown, with the positioning leg in the base.

  3. 15:55

You check it and send it. The deposit is applied and the balance is charged by ACH.

  4. 16:02

The invoice, the payment and the pilot's approved hotel receipt sync to your books under that aircraft's class.

  5. Month end

The owner statement for the aircraft is built from the same records. You don't open a spreadsheet.
